Who is Indian-American Vivek Ramaswamy, who is contemplating running for president in 2024?
In 2024, Republican billionaire and Indian-American Vivek Ramaswamy hope to declare his presidential candidacy, joining Nikki Haley, who will do the campaigning on Wednesday.
According to media reports, Ramaswamy (37), a millionaire and CEO of Anti-Woke Inc., is now doing practice runs and reality expeditions in the United States state of Iowa, where he has been speaking at numerous events.
Ramaswamy reportedly argued that his travel to Iowa and other preparations for a future candidature are serious, according to Politico’s article on Monday. It further alleged Ramaswamy responded, “This is not a play for attention.”
The story stated that, among other things, he is thinking about running for president to see if Republican lawmakers, business executives, and farmers will listen to his cautions about the perils of “wokeism” and socially conscious investment.
Ramaswamy does not aim to rely entirely on his experience in the workplace. He will instead begin a suggestions campaign to revive the American spirit and reinstate a meritocracy in society, it claimed.
Ramaswamy was born in Cincinnati, the son of Indian immigrants. His mom was a geriatric psychologist, and his father worked as an engineer for General Electric. He visited Yale and Harvard, and it is said that he is worth over $500 million, which would be sufficient to launch his candidature in the crucial early states.
His first claim to fame was as a prosperous biotech businessman and creator of medications, notably five FDA-approved therapies.
“As a consequence of my path of experiencing the benefits this country has given me, I think I have built a perspective for the American nationalism to which I am strongly devoted,” said Ramaswamy, who was mentioned in the story.
