Amir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh, who have been married for nine years, have called it quits.
Before their Nikah, Amir and Sanjeeda had been dating for some time and were one of the most popular on-screen and off-screen couples in the television industry.
The rumours regarding their breakup began in the year 2020. However, neither star has issued an official statement. And now, according to reports, the couple has divorced, ending their nearly decade-long marriage.
According to rumours in the media, the two had already split before their divorce and are now living different lives. Amir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh are also claimed to be refusing to confirm their divorce, according to reports.
Sanjeeda Shaikh and Amir Ali have a daughter from their marriage. Sanjeeda has custody of their two-year-old daughter, Arya, according to sources. She and her daughter are currently residing at her parents’ home. When asked about their daughter and their separation, Sanjeeda reportedly stated that she only wanted to make her daughter proud, while Amir stated that he wanted Sanjeeda to be happy at all times. According to reports, the two did not speak about their differences or split.
In the year 2012, the two actors, Amir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh, got married. Surrogacy was used to give birth to their daughter, Arya. Amir and Sanjeeda were seen together in the eighth season of the dance reality show Nach Baliye, when they wowed the audience with their dazzling performances.
On the work front, Amir Ali is currently filming his next project in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He also appeared in Mika Singh’s music video for “Majnu.” The actor posted a video of the song to his Instagram account. Aside from that, he’s very active on social media, having created multiple trending reels.
