Aga Syed Danish Rizvi is inspiring the Youth of Kashmir through his poems
Every one of us has a dream in childhood but as we grow up we get lost in the struggles of life and our goals and ambitions change, but some people are not the same. Some have pinpoint focus, and they know what exactly they want from their life.
Aga Syed Danish Rizvi is one of such people. From his childhood, Danish was passionate about writing, and he was dedicated to Sufism poetry. He started writing at the age of 5.
Sufism that came in India along with Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, a disciple of Khwaja Usman Harooni has added sacred essence to the ordinary life of people.
Danish is carrying the legacy of Sufi Poetry on his shoulders from a very young age. Syed Danish Rizvi is a devoted Sufi mystic Poet who belongs to the Summer Capital (Srinagar) of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The 26-year-old is also a writer and influencer.
He idolized Hussain Ibn Ali (Grandson of Prophet Mohammad) and his father Aga Syed Maqbool Hussain Rizvi who is a spiritual clerk is his inspiration. His father has always taught him to value God above everything and life is merely a journey to reach the Almighty. Danish believes that destiny is the poet’s creator.
His first book “Sron Sar” has been published and the title of the book is itself very poetic. ‘Sron Sar’ means the lake with the depth that no one can measure. The book is a collection of 110 poems that are aligned in a way that conveys a journey to destiny through the Poet himself.
Danish himself being a child of Kashmir wants to inspire other Kashmiris and with his work, Danish wants to promote the Kashmiri language and Kashmiri culture. His dedication to Sufi poetry is inspiring for others.
