There is a lot of talk regarding South and Bollywood films on social media right now. There has been a rift, with some believing that South Indian films, which are currently doing well at the box office across India, are threatening Bollywood.
In a recent interview with BollywoodLife, Ajay Devgn was asked about the increasing split between Bollywood and the South.
Ajay Devgn remarked, “The same thing was said about Hollywood a long time ago, yet nothing changed.” So, while these concerns will continue to be debated, Bollywood will surely prosper. More importantly, we must stop perceiving our films as belonging to various regions, such as the North or the South, and instead see them as belonging to India.
Runway 34, starring Ajay Devgn, will be released in theatres on April 29th.
