Bigg Boss OTT Season 3: Neeraj Goyat, the first contestant eliminated, believes he could have demonstrated how to win the show gracefully
The third season of Bigg Boss OTT has sparked considerable interest with its unexpected mid-week elimination. Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat has become the first contestant to exit the house, expressing satisfaction in leaving with dignity. The show’s first eviction took place on Wednesday, setting a record for its swift ceremonious removal. Neeraj took to social media post-eviction to thank his supporters and reflect on his departure.
“While leaving the show, I expressed gratitude, acknowledging the importance of sportsmanship in this game. Losing due to audience votes doesn’t overshadow winning people’s hearts, which means a lot to me. To those facing setbacks, maintain a sporting spirit,” he shared with fellow contestants.
Reflecting on his brief stint, Neeraj also posted on social media: “I’ve always been candid, and I remained so in BBOTT3. Thank you for the overwhelming love in just 3 days. It’s truly touching.” He added, “I lived in the house authentically, spreading happiness. Avoiding conflicts, I believed in the strength of love. Given more time, I would have shown how to win with love and dignity. Despite my exit based on audience votes, the outpouring of love since has been incredible. Life has its highs and lows, and your support means everything.”
During the eviction episode, housemates chose between Neeraj and Shivani Kumari for elimination, with Shivani receiving nine votes. However, the audience’s decision led to Neeraj’s surprising eviction. His departure left many contestants emotional, with Deepak Chaurasia in tears and Ranvir Shorey praising Neeraj as a legend, grateful for their bond on the show. Following the announcement, some viewers on social media criticized the elimination as unfair.
