RCB vs KKR: Lowest 20-over total in the history of Indian Premier League

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) made the lowest total playing full 20 overs against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Wednesday, October 21. The team was restricted to 84/8 by RCB at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

RCB pacer, Mohammed Siraj was seen at his best as he took three important wickets and became the first bowler to bowl two maiden overs in an IPL match. He ended with extremely impressive figures of 4-2-8-3. After a victory by 8 wickets, RCB is now at the second position in the points table, while KKR remains at the fourth spot.

Due to his love for twos, Kohli ran for a couple despite only 1 run was required to win in the 14th over of RCB’s chase. Interestingly, the lowest innings score ever in the history of IPL (42/10) was created by Royal Challengers Bangalore against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 10th season of IPL.
