Anushka and Virat asked the paparazzi to not capture pics of their baby girl

Cricketer Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma welcomed their first child on Monday. The star couple shared the news on the internet that they are blessed with a baby girl.
However, since the birth of their child, the couple has emphasized the need for privacy and urge the media to not click any pic of the baby girl. Anushka and Virat sent a note to paparazzi urging to respect their privacy as a parent.
The note sent to the Mumbai paparazzi fraternity reads ”Hi, Thank you for all the love that you have given us for all these years. We are happy to celebrate this momentous occasion with you. As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child, and we need your help and support.”
The couple made clear that they will share the needed content but the media should not share any piece featuring their baby.
An excerpt from the statement shared for media reads ”While, we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child. We know that you will understand where we are coming from and we thank you for the same,”
Virat shared a note on Twitter sharing the news that they have welcomed a baby girl. He expressed his gratitude towards his fan and thanked everyone for their prayer and blessings. In the note, Virat also asked others to respect their privacy as parents.
The note reads, ”We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy, and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time.”
A week before the birth of the girl Anushka shared a story and expressed her resentment for sharing the couple’s pictures without their consent. She wrote, ”Despite requesting the said photographer and the publication, they still continue to invade our privacy. Guys! Stop this right now,”
The celebrity couple has kept the media away from their personal life and now sources claim that the couple has even increased the security where the baby is born. Even close relatives are not allowed to visit the baby. Even the visitors from nearby rooms are barred from meeting the child.
Amul has shared an adorable cartoon of the couple and their newborn girl and greeted them with good wishes. The caption with the picture reads ”Bowled over by this delivery. Welcome it home.” The netizens are loving the cartoon and showering their love on it.
Earlier when Anushka announced her pregnancy Amul shared hers and her husband’s cartoon in which Anushka can be seen with a baby bump. The caption reads’Weerushka on the way’ and ”Butter for beta or beti.”
Virat’s brother had also shared a picture of a baby which was assumed to be the first pic of the star couple’s child. The cricketer’s brother, Vikas Kohli shared the post with the caption “Happiness overboard… angel in the house”. The picture was of an infant whose tiny feet were peeping out from the blanket.
However, In another post Vikas clarified the picture was random, he wrote ”Guys let me clarify that the picture I posted yesterday to congratulate Anushka and Virat is a random picture and not the actual picture of the baby… as some media channels are reporting… Posting to clarify,” 2 of 2
