Tarun Gogoi, former CM of Assam passes away at 86
The three-time chief minister of Assam, Tarun Gogoi was admitted to GMCH on 2nd November with Post-COVID complications passed away. As per news agency PTI, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said Tarun Gogoi breathed his last at 5:34 pm in Guwahati Medical College and hospital. The last rites will be conducted in Guwahati with full state honors and the Former CM’s body will be kept at Srimata Sankradeva Kalashetra from Tuesday morning to allow people to pay their respect. He was the MLA from the Titabor Assembly constituency since 2001 and he was also a six-time parliamentarian and a Union minister twice.
