Whatsapp’s new disappearing message feature goes live in India

Popular instant messaging app Whatsapp has finally rolled out the much-awaited ‘disappearing messages’ on its platform in India. This feature is available for both Android and iOS users. This new feature will automatically delete new messages sent to a chat after seven days when turned on and it is available in kaiOS and web.
In a one-to-one chat, either person can turn on or off the disappearing message feature. In groups, only the admins will have control of this feature. However, the feature has been started with a seven-day limit.
Whatsapp is a Facebook-owned platform and it has over 400 million users in India and the disappearing feature will be rolled out to over two billion people active users globally.
