Beyoncé debuts whiskey line in collaboration with LVMH’s Moët Hennessy
Beyoncé is making a splash in the luxury liquor world with the launch of her new whiskey line, SirDavis, in collaboration with LVMH’s Moët Hennessy.
Announced via a press release on Tuesday, the whiskey is showcased in a promotional Instagram post by Beyoncé, who proudly holds a glass of the spirit with the caption, “DAVIS IN MY BONES.”
SirDavis, named after Beyoncé’s great-grandfather Davis Hogue—a farmer who hid whiskey bottles during Prohibition—honors her heritage. The whiskey is crafted and bottled in Texas, marking Moët Hennessy’s first spirit brand developed entirely in the U.S. It features a blend of 51% rye and 49% malted barley, matured in sherry casks for a profile of “bold sophistication.”
Retailing at $89 per bottle, SirDavis will hit the shelves in September. The bottle’s design, featuring a bronzed horse, pays tribute to Beyoncé’s recent albums and the legacy she aims to create with this venture.
