Bihar elections: Phase 2 voting for 94 seats begins

Voting for the second phase of the Bihar assembly elections across 94 constituencies began today at 7 am. Over 2.85 crores voters are eligible to vote and 1,500 candidates are contesting for the seats.
First phase voting for 243 member house was conducted on 28th October, In the first phase, 71 constituent assemblies went to polls. The third phase of the election will be on 7th November.
The key constituencies in the 2nd phase are Raghopur, Hasanpur, Bankipur, Begusarai, and Jhanjharpur.
Grand alliance CM candidate and RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav is contesting from Raghopur against Satish Kumar of BJP, who has previously defeated former CM Rabri Devi.
