Milind Soman surprises social media fans by cycling 80 kilometres in 3 hours 15 minutes in running sandals

Milind Soman’s name has become synonymous with healthy living and clean eating, to say the least. And appropriately so, since the supermodel sets lofty fitness objectives for himself. Milind, who is known for sharing pictures of his training routine on social media, has released some photographs that have left his followers speechless.

On December 16, the actor not only cycled 80 kilometres in three hours and fifteen minutes, but he did so while wearing running sandals.

This morning, I ran 80 kilometres in three hours and fifteen minutes with my friend @dhirenbontra. The most recent ride was 65 kilometres in Kashmir a few months ago, and the one before that was Ultraman four years ago! But, of course, I do a bunch of other stuff every day for a few minutes, so I can stay in shape to do this, “he said.

While many people praised his strength and hailed him as an example on social media, many others pointed out that he cycled in sandals.

When a user asked, “Did you cycle all the way through in your running slippers?” the actor replied, “Yes.”

Cycling in slippers? Are you serious? And that, too, 80 kilometres in three hours? You’re serious, right? “ Another user commented.

Milind previously stated that he favours sandals over closed running shoes. It’s uncomfortable for me to run in closed shoes, and I can’t run in my natural form. It doesn’t matter to me whether the surface is soft or firm; what matters is technique. “ When he ran barefoot for 400 kilometres in eight days from Mumbai to the Statue of Unity in August of this year, he said, “Run softly.”

He also informed his supporters that he was about to embark on a first-of-its-kind endeavour. It’s going to be a long ride! Be on the lookout for something I’ve never done before, “he teased.
